MUD BOG RULES-revised May 2011
· Must be 18 years of age or have a valid drivers license to race
· No passengers under 16yrs old allowed
· All vehicles must meet rule guide lines for their class
· All vehicles must be ready for inspection prior to race,
· All drivers and passengers must wear close toed shoes, shirt and pants in class 2, 3, & 4
o No sandals or flip flops in any class
· All race vehicles must have at least 2.5lb dry powder fire extinguisher in reach of driver
· Race seats must have 4 point harness
· All vehicles must have front and real pull points
o If pull point brakes, one member from your pit crew must secure pulling device( sling, rope, chain)
· All vehicles must have brakes
· 4 point roll cage attached to frame mandatory for all open top vehicles (OEM role bars ok)
· Full firewalls and full floor boards are required
· All vehicles must have an engine kill switch within reach of driver while he/she is fastened securely in harness or seatbelt
· All relocated fuel tanks must be protected from collision and must be properly secured
· All vehicle fuel systems must have lines and pumps located outside drivers compartment and be vented below the floor of vehicle unless equipped with factory vent or rollover valve
· Horse playing/ hot dogging/ donuts or reckless driving is prohibited. No exceptions, violation of this rule will forfeit all races, prize money, trophy ETC.
· No vehicle is allowed to leave Off Road property to clean out tires
· Any vehicle driven to Off Road Adventures to be raced must wash mud off on Off Road property prior to leaving.
· Breakdowns will have 10 minutes to pull to starting line
- If you vehicle gets to the starting line but is unable to proceed (battery jump excluded), 30 seconds will be your time for that round
- If your 10 minutes are up and you did not bring vehicle to starting line you must notify starter and you have 1 chance to arrive at starting line when called at the end of your class, must be same round or you will be disqualified for entire race
· You will be required to shut down all attempts of movement immediately when flagged by an official
o At any point during your attempt you are not moving forward, you will have one chance to start again.
· Personal safety equipment mandatory
o Seat belt or 4 point harness
o (DOT) Helmet
o Fire suit, boots, face mask, gloves and helmet for alcohol vehicles only
o Officials have the right to disqualify you from racing if you are impaired by their judgment by alcohol or drugs (legal or illegal)
· Absolutely no drugs allowed on Off Road property unless prescribed by a doctor
· Fighting is prohibited, violators will be disqualified from all races and/or escorted off of premises
· Drivers meeting 30 min prior to race time
· 1 False start allowed not to exceed 36 from start line
· A driver must clear the finish line at least once during qualifying rounds in order to move to FINAL round
NOTE: RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. DECISIONS MADE WILL BE FINAL. As officials, we cannot be expected to have infinite foresight, Therefore be advised that just because a specific item is not covered by a written rule, that it may be considered either legal or illegal. Track officials will have the final word on unspecified situations.
IMPORTANT: Offroad Adventures and its owners/workers are not responsible for damage to personal property or accidents resulting in injury to drivers, crew, or spectators. Racing and attendance at racing events is inherently dangerous and could lead to serious injury or death.

i. Programmers or chips prohibited for diesel engines
ii. Nitros, exotic fuel or additives prohibited
3. Max Tire Size 38 (DOT),No Paddle, scoops or tractor tires
4. Lift Kits Accepted
5. No Open Exhaust (Must have a muffler)
6. No Body Swap
7. Bumper and Tailgate not necessary
8. If battery is moved from the stock location, a master kill switch is mandatory.
9. 4 point minimum role cage for all vehicles with open top mandatory
1. 4x4 only
2. Natural aspirated (Single) carburetor or Factory fuel injection, Turbo/Blower must be OEM.
3. Max Tire size 44 (DOT), no Paddles, scoops, or tractor tires
4. Radiator in stock location
5. Body swaps allowed, body must match wheelbase.
6. No alcohol, Nitro methane, racing fuel okay.
a. No programmers or chips for diesel engines
7. Suspension must be comparable to stock type
a. Lift kits ok
b. No adjustable coil-overs unless factory equipped
8. Open headers accepted (up or down)
9. Drive shaft loops required on any shaft over 12 in length. Must be made of Ό thick x 1 wide steel located in middle of driveshaft or 6 from each end.
1. 4x4 Only
2. Any engine up to 600hp or 540 cubic inch, drive train modifications accepted
3. Tire size (open) up to 49
a. tractor or cut accepted
b. no paddle or scoops
4. May run any fuel that is naturally aspirated, Fuel injection ok
a. No blowers
b. No alcohol
c. Programmers & chips allowed for diesel engines
5. Body swaps allowed, must match wheelbase
a. Stripping and Gutting allowed
6. 4 point harness required
7. Minimum 4 point roll cage
8. Must have approved drive shaft loops
Class 4 (Unlimited)
1. 4x4 only
2. Any Engine (blowers ok)
3. Any drive train with approved drive shaft loops
